Benchmark International opens Oxfordshire office
At Benchmark International, we’re proud to be celebrating an exciting year of strategic growth and an increase in headcount by opening brand new offices in Milton Park, Oxfordshire.
As part of our continued expansion plans, we will be opening a southern headquarters to complement our current centre of operations in Greater Manchester. This opening will further extend the worldwide reach of the business’ physical presence with offices around the world and headquarters in the UK and US.
James Thornton, our Chief Operations Officer, comments, “Our sustained growth and expansion is exciting for everyone involved and our plans to continue the momentum of this success calls for Benchmark International to establish a southern presence, which will allow us to better serve our current and future clients.
“After an extensive feasibility study, the shareholders have agreed that establishing a presence in the Oxford area will be the ideal strategic location to grow and expand our UK and European business in the mid-to long-term. The property fits our requirements and brand identity perfectly; furthermore, as a benefit to Milton Park and the local economy, we will create circa 25 new jobs by virtue of establishing our new office. Set within the M4 corridor, the site at Milton Park will be a key element to Benchmark International’s growth strategy in 2015/16 and it is a shared belief between all of the shareholders that this is the perfect property for our continued expansion.”
It would seem that we are a welcome addition to the Milton Park community according to Jo Szegota, commercial manager at MEPC Milton Park: “We are thrilled that Benchmark International has chosen Milton Park for its southern headquarters’ location. They are joining a very strong business community in the Government’s Enterprise Zone and we welcome them all and their staff. I have no doubt that 101 Park Drive, as a state-of-the-art building, will very much suit their business and clients alike.”
Work has already begun on the office fit out and the provisional opening date for the new Oxfordshire office is August 2015.
