Benchmark International Advises On The Sale Of Oakwood Technology Group Limited To Thermotech Solutions Limited

Benchmark International is pleased to have advised on an agreed deal for the sale of Oakwood Technology Group Limited to Thermotech Solutions Limited.

Established in 1976 by Jon Holmes, Oakwood is one of the UK’s longest established air conditioning and building services contractors. Initially selling full computer room packages, the company moved into comfort air conditioning when the computer room market subsided in the 1980’s. This was a move that led the company into the air conditioning and building services contracting market they are in today. From the initial consultation through to completion, Oakwood work as a team, drawing on a range of expertise from within the company. Teamwork is in their DNA and it is something they demonstrate on a regular basis when working with clients and their partners.

Thermotech, pride themselves on their high levels of quality and customer satisfaction. Their businesses have been assessed against internationally-recognised standards by independent awarding bodies and auditors, providing assurance to clients, suppliers and partners that they are industry leaders when it comes to competence and performance capability for mechanical services and fire protection.

Chief executive of Thermotech, Bill Squires said: “We are delighted to welcome the whole Oakwood team to Thermotech. Their operations add significant capabilities and scale to our existing fire protection and mechanical services businesses.
